I installed this light just before my last trip and I love it. You click the switch once and it come on at about 50-60% of it's full illumination. Click the switch a second time and it comes on at full power. This is a great feature to save power for those who camp using batteries for power. It's bright, but not blinding. I would recommend this to those folks who dry camp in RV's and are looking for a low profile 12VDC LED light.
