I have a washer and dryer behind bifold doors in the back part of my kitchen. At times it is difficult to see the writing on the dials to choose load size, temperature, etc.I bought this light thinking it would assist in reading the dials and it does the trick.I mounted it using the included bracket, and like others have pointed out, THE TEMPLATE IS OFF BY ABOUT AN INCH! How could they have screwed that up? I used the template and then realized it was off, so I had to drill a second hole. Grrrrr.I like the motion activated feature and leave it on that setting. As I open the bifold doors, the light comes on automatically and stays on for 30 seconds; enough time for me to select the dials. There is also a 60 second option if you need it.
