Overall... We like it. It's pretty and the quality is very decent for the price. The glass is clean and the frosting is evenly distributed so everything looks good.Once installed, I really have no complaints. However the install itself was not without problems. If you are mechanically inclined, or used to installing things then I'd recommend hiring a professional.If you choose to install on your own, keep these in mind... Getting the electrical wire through the tube is not easy. There are tricks, like running a feeder through first. We're aware of the various tricks. It was still a tough run.Also, the included hardware assumes you have a perfectly mounted box in the ceiling. I definitely understand that they can't include hardware for every possible scenario. That said, I had to get creative with a hacksaw and some machine screws to get the light to mount firmly into the electrical box. In the end it all worked out but I wouldn't have wanted this to be my first home project.Final Verdict: Approved. If installing yourself, prepare for a full afternoon and maybe a trip to the hardware store. The final install has received lots of compliments and for the price... We like it.I ordered this Eglo Lighting Novela Chandelier to replace the one in my kitchen's breakfast dining area. I like that it has an elongated 6 feet chain and 8 feet wire design but isn't fancy as expected. Though I like that it appears to be made of good quality stainless steel materials with a nice brushed Nickel finish, and seems to be durable. I like that some of our visitors do like the brushed nickel finish is a and we have gotten compliments about the finish, the styling was not up to par as I would have wanted it to be for the price point. It wasn’t too difficult for my son and I to assemble and install by following the simple step by step instructions and we also watched a couple of YouTube videos for directions. I think for the quality, the cost is a little on the high side. Overall this is a good chandelier if you don’t like the fancy designs.This is a nicely made lightning fixture. It seems robust and durable. It doesn't feel cheap, but it isn't really fancy either. It is a good middle tier chandelier for common spaces like the breakfast table. I don't think it is quite fancy enough in a foyer or dining room, but for smaller areas it may be perfectly suited. Nice long 6' chain is good for ceilings up to 10'. 4 stars.This is a stunning light! This really helped update a eating area I was redoing. It gave things a really sleek modern look. We’re not into crystal chandeliers, but this one, in brushed nickel matches all the accessories and fixtures in the bath. It also provides much more light for those who decide to spend some reading a book! It was easy to install, and lends a new “air” to the whole bathroom. Our previous fixture held candelabra bulbs , but did not provide adequate lighting.Since we have an all-white color scheme, this light really enhances the room.The whole room is lit as brightly as outdoor daylight. We have it on a dimmer, so it can be more subtle if you prefer.The photo is with the lighting set to full.The white frosted glass is opaque, but still allows full light exposure and illuminates the glass shades beautifully. We used white LED bulbs, but you can use the gold for a warmer effect.The electrician installed the fixture quickly and easily in well under an hour.We are so pleased! We love the look and function of the light.This chandelier is simple yet adds a nice touch to a room. It isn't large, so it is best used in small spaces. It has a nickel finish and it also has frosted opal glass, which gives a nice ambiance when the light is on.
